Dough

250 g pizza flour
¾ tsp salt
¼ cube yeast (approx. 10 g)
1 ½ dl water
1 tbsp olive oil

To shape

180 g Gruyère

Charcoal/gas/electric grill

12 cherry tomatoes
4 wooden skewers
1 tbsp olive oil

Basil oil

½ bunch basil
3 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp salt
a little pepper

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Dough

250 g pizza flour
¾ tsp salt
¼ cube yeast (approx. 10 g)
1 ½ dl water
1 tbsp olive oil

Mix the flour, salt and yeast in a bowl. Add the water and oil, knead to form a soft, smooth dough. Cover and leave to rise at room temperature for approx. 1 hr.

To shape

180 g Gruyère

Cut the cheese into 12 pieces. Divide the dough into 12 portions, flatten slightly, place one cube of cheese on top of each. Seal the dough, shape into 12 balls.

Charcoal/gas/electric grill

12 cherry tomatoes
4 wooden skewers
1 tbsp olive oil

Thread 3 tomatoes and 3 dough balls alternately onto each wooden skewer. Brush the skewers with oil. Grill the skewers on all sides over/on a medium heat (approx. 200°C) for approx. 15 mins.

Basil oil

½ bunch basil
3 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp salt
a little pepper

Cut the basil into thin strips, mix with the oil, season. Brush the Swiss National Day skewers with the basil oil.
