To prepare

500 g different coloured cherry tomatoes
1 onion

Breadcrumbs

1 tbsp olive oil
30 g breadcrumbs
3 sprig thyme

Sauce

1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp tomato puree
1 dl water
2 tbsp sweet balsamic vinegar
3 sprig thyme
1 tsp salt
a little pepper
100 g mascarpone
550 g potato gnocchi

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

To prepare

500 g different coloured cherry tomatoes
1 onion

Halve the cherry tomatoes. Peel the onion, cut into rings, set both aside.

Breadcrumbs

1 tbsp olive oil
30 g breadcrumbs
3 sprig thyme

Heat the oil in a pan. Reduce the heat, add the breadcrumbs, toast for approx. 4 mins. Remove, place the breadcrumbs in a small bowl. Remove the thyme leaves, add, mix.

Sauce

1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp tomato puree
1 dl water
2 tbsp sweet balsamic vinegar
3 sprig thyme
1 tsp salt
a little pepper
100 g mascarpone
550 g potato gnocchi

Heat the oil in the same pan. Add the reserved onion, sauté for approx. 3 mins. Add the tomato puree and cook for approx. 1 min. Pour in the water and balsamic. Add the thyme and reserved cherry tomatoes, bring to the boil, season. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for approx. 10 mins., stirring occasionally. Remove the pan from the heat, mix in the Parmesan cheese. Add the gnocchi, heat through.

To serve

Plate up the gnocchi. Sprinkle with the breadcrumbs.
