Batter

200 g white flour
¾ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
2 eggs
2 dl milk
1 tbsp maple syrup
¾ tsp bourbon vanilla powder

Mini pancakes

clarified butter, for frying

Plums

6 plums
4 tsp maple syrup

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Batter

200 g white flour
¾ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
2 eggs
2 dl milk
1 tbsp maple syrup
¾ tsp bourbon vanilla powder

Mix the flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Thoroughly whisk the eggs, milk, maple syrup and vanilla.

Pour the egg & milk mixture into the flour, whisk until the batter is smooth. Cover and leave to stand for approx. 30 mins. Transfer the batter to a piping bag, snip the tip off the end with scissors.

Mini pancakes

clarified butter, for frying

Heat a little clarified butter in a non-stick frying pan. Reduce the heat, pour as much batter into the pan as it takes to make round pancakes of approx. 2 cm in diameter. Once the undersides are cooked and no longer stick to the pan, turn the pancakes over, finish cooking, then divide between 4 small bowls.

Plums

6 plums
4 tsp maple syrup

Cut the plums in half and remove the stones. Cut the fruit into segments, arrange on top of the pancakes. Drizzle with maple syrup.

Good to know
Tip: Add milk.
