Rice pudding mix

200 g round grain rice (e.g. Camolino)
1 parcel vanilla sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp salt

Apple pieces

80 g dried apple rings

Instructions for the gift card

1 litre milk
2 sprig thyme

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Rice pudding mix

200 g round grain rice (e.g. Camolino)
1 parcel vanilla sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp salt

Pour the rice into the jar. Mix the vanilla sugar, cinnamon and salt, add to the rice.

Apple pieces

80 g dried apple rings

Roughly tear the apple rings, place on top of the cinnamon sugar. Seal the jar tightly.

Instructions for the gift card

1 litre milk
2 sprig thyme

Pour the milk and rice mixture into a pan, slowly bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat. Simmer for approx. 25 mins. over a low heat, stirring occasionally until you have a thick, creamy rice pudding. Remove the pan from the heat, garnish with the thyme leaves.
