Batter

250 g half-white flour
1 pinch salt
80 g ground cane sugar
1 tsp vanilla paste
3 tsp baking powder
2 ¼ dl sparkling mineral water
1 dl sunflower oil

Decorate

12 mini chocolate Easter eggs
1 bag dark cake icing (120 g)
24 sugar eyes
12 Smarties
1 icing for writing, white

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Preparation

Place the paper cases in the muffin tin

Batter

250 g half-white flour
1 pinch salt
80 g ground cane sugar
1 tsp vanilla paste
3 tsp baking powder
2 ¼ dl sparkling mineral water
1 dl sunflower oil

Mix the flour, salt, sugar, vanilla and baking powder in a bowl. Pour in the water and oil, mix quickly to form a smooth batter. Transfer the batter to the prepared tin.

Bake

Approx. 25 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 180 °C. Take the muffins out of the oven, allow to cool slightly, remove from the tin and leave to cool on a rack.

Decorate

12 mini chocolate Easter eggs
1 bag dark cake icing (120 g)
24 sugar eyes
12 Smarties
1 icing for writing, white

Cut the mini eggs in half, melt the bags of cake icing in a bain-marie. Pour the cake icing into a small bowl. Dip the top third of the muffins into the icing, decorate with the mini eggs, sugar eyes, Smarties and writing icing to create bunny faces.
