Batter

80 g butter, soft
100 g sugar
2 eggs
80 g chocolate spread
1 dl milk

Muffins

200 g light spelt flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp sodium bicarbonate
1 pinch salt

Decorate

100 g chocolate spread
30 g salted popcorn

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Preparation

Place the paper cases in the muffin tin.

Batter

80 g butter, soft
100 g sugar
2 eggs
80 g chocolate spread
1 dl milk

Place the butter and sugar in a bowl, mix using the whisk on a mixer. Add the eggs, continue to beat until the mixture becomes lighter in colour. Add the chocolate spread, pour in the milk, mix.

Muffins

200 g light spelt flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp sodium bicarbonate
1 pinch salt

Mix the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt in a bowl. Add the flour to the egg mixture, mix well. Spoon the batter into the paper cases.

Bake

Approx. 20 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 180 °C. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, remove from the tin, leave to cool completely on a rack.

Decorate

100 g chocolate spread
30 g salted popcorn

Spread the chocolate spread on top of the muffins, sprinkle the popcorn on top.
