Skewers

8 long wooden skewers

Chicken

300 g tender chicken breast fillets
½ tsp salt
3 tbsp white flour
120 g cherries

Sauce

150 g plain greek yoghurt
½ tbsp mild curry powder
½ tsp turmeric
¼ tsp salt

How it's done

Skewers

8 long wooden skewers

Place the wooden skewers in water, soak for 30 mins.

Chicken

300 g tender chicken breast fillets
½ tsp salt
3 tbsp white flour
120 g cherries

Halve the chicken crosswise, season, dust with flour, shake off any excess flour. Thread the chicken and cherries onto the skewers.

Charcoal/gas/electric grill

With the lid down, grill the skewers over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C) for approx. 15 mins., turning occasionally.

Sauce

150 g plain greek yoghurt
½ tbsp mild curry powder
½ tsp turmeric
¼ tsp salt

Mix the yoghurt and spices. Serve the sauce with the skewers.
