Mince

200 g carrots
1 spring onion incl. green part
1 tbsp olive oil
300 g mince (chicken)
½ tsp salt
a little pepper
2 dl sour single cream
3 dl water
½ tsp salt
a little pepper

Potato dumplings

500 g potato dumplings
½ bunch chives

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Preparation

Mince

200 g carrots
1 spring onion incl. green part
1 tbsp olive oil
300 g mince (chicken)
½ tsp salt
a little pepper

Finely slice the carrots and spring onion. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the chicken in batches, brown for approx. 4 mins. per batch, remove, season. Reduce the heat, add the carrots and spring onion, cook for approx. 4 mins.

2 dl sour single cream
3 dl water
½ tsp salt
a little pepper

Combine the sour single cream and water, season, pour in, simmer over a medium heat for approx. 5 mins.

Potato dumplings

500 g potato dumplings

Add the potato dumplings, cover and simmer for approx. 5 mins. Return the meat to the pan and heat gently.

½ bunch chives

Plate up the potato dumplings with the sauce. Finely chop the chives using scissors, sprinkle on top.
