Dressing

2 tbsp sweet mustard
3 tbsp white wine vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp water
1 bunch basil
1 bunch flat-leaf parsley
½ tsp salt

Croutons

1 lye roll (approx. 90 g)
½ tbsp olive oil

Skewers

200 g Lyoner sausage, sliced
8 short wooden skewers

Salad

1 head lettuce
150 g cherry tomatoes

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Dressing

2 tbsp sweet mustard
3 tbsp white wine vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp water
1 bunch basil
1 bunch flat-leaf parsley
½ tsp salt

Place the mustard in a measuring cup along with all the other ingredients up to and including the salt, puree, set aside.

Croutons

1 lye roll (approx. 90 g)
½ tbsp olive oil

Tear the bread rolls into pieces. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Add the bread, toast for approx. 4 mins. until golden. Remove and set aside.

Skewers

200 g Lyoner sausage, sliced
8 short wooden skewers

Fold the Lyoner sausage slices into quarters, thread three onto each wooden skewer.

To fry

Without adding any oil, fry the skewers in the same frying pan over a medium heat for approx. 5 mins. all over.

Salad

1 head lettuce
150 g cherry tomatoes

Separate the lettuce into leaves, wash well, drain. Halve the tomatoes, add both to a bowl with the dressing, mix. Serve the salad with the skewers. Sprinkle the reserved croutons on top.
