To prepare the one-pot

200 g waxy potatoes
1 red-skinned apple
1 spring onion incl. green part
120 g country bacon in slices

Cook the One-pot

300 g pasta (e.g. Älplermagronen macaroni)
2 dl full cream
6 dl vegetable bouillon

Finishing touches

60 g Appenzeller, grated
salt and pepper to taste

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

To prepare the one-pot

200 g waxy potatoes
1 red-skinned apple
1 spring onion incl. green part
120 g country bacon in slices

Peel the potato, cut the potato and apple into equally sized (approx. 1 cm) pieces. Cut the spring onion into thin slices and the bacon into pieces.

Cook the One-pot

300 g pasta (e.g. Älplermagronen macaroni)
2 dl full cream
6 dl vegetable bouillon

Place the pasta, apple, onion, potato and bacon with the cream and stock into a broad pan, mix, bring to the boil. Cook over a medium heat (covered) for approx. 8 mins., stirring occasionally until the pasta is al dente.

Finishing touches

60 g Appenzeller, grated
salt and pepper to taste

Grate the cheese finely, mix in with the pasta, season.

Good to know
Tip: Distribute the roasted onion on top.
