Skewers

½ charentais melon
250 g cherry tomatoes
150 g mozzarella cheese balls
½ bunch basil
some wooden skewers

Dressing

2 sprig basil
1 tbsp pesto rosso (red pesto)
1 tsp white balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Skewers

½ charentais melon
250 g cherry tomatoes
150 g mozzarella cheese balls
½ bunch basil
some wooden skewers

Scoop out balls from the melon using a melon baller. Thread the tomatoes, mozzarella, basil leaves and melon balls alternately onto the wooden skewers.

Dressing

2 sprig basil
1 tbsp pesto rosso (red pesto)
1 tsp white balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Finely chop the basil, place in a bowl. Add the pesto, balsamic, water and oil, mix and season. Drizzle the dressing over the skewers.
