Chocolate milk

100 g dark chocolate
4 dl milk

Ice cream mixture

3 fresh egg yolk
75 g sugar
2 tbsp chocolate powder
1 dl full cream

Monkeys

100 g biscuit (e.g. mini Willisauer Ringli)
1 icing for writing, black
12 sugar eyes

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Chocolate milk

100 g dark chocolate
4 dl milk

Break the chocolate into pieces. Heat the milk in a pan. Remove the pan from the heat, add the chocolate, allow to stand for a short time, stir until smooth.

Ice cream mixture

3 fresh egg yolk
75 g sugar
2 tbsp chocolate powder
1 dl full cream

Mix the egg yolks, sugar and chocolate powder in a bowl. Pour half of the milk into the egg yolks, mix well. Pour the mixture back into the pan and simmer over a medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and turns creamy. Pour the mixture through a sieve into a stainless steel bowl, pour in the cream, mix well.

To freeze

Cover and freeze for approx. 3 hrs., puree with a handheld blender, freeze for approx. 2 hrs.

Monkeys

100 g biscuit (e.g. mini Willisauer Ringli)
1 icing for writing, black
12 sugar eyes

Shape the ice cream into balls, place in ice cream tubs or cornets. Insert biscuits at the sides for ears and stick one on the front for a mouth. Draw a nose with writing icing and press on sugar eyes.
