How it's done

Melt the butter in a pan, allow to cool slightly. Place the flour, rolled oats, baking powder, sugar and salt in a bowl, mix. Beat the eggs, add along with the mineral water and butter, whisk into a smooth batter, cover and leave to stand at room temperature for approx. 30 mins.
Heat up the waffle iron. Brush with a little clarified butter, spoon 1 heaped tablespoon of batter onto the waffle iron for each waffle, cook the waffles for approx. 3 mins., remove and keep warm.
Mash the berries in a deep dish using a fork, mix with the sugar, leave to stand for approx. 15 mins., serve with the waffles.
