Batter

100 g wholemeal flour
50 g white flour
50 g shelled ground almonds
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
2 dl full-cream milk
1 egg
2 tbsp birnel (pear syrup)

2 bananas
200 g strawberries
some short wooden skewers

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Batter

100 g wholemeal flour
50 g white flour
50 g shelled ground almonds
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt

Mix the flour, almonds, baking powder and salt in a bowl.

2 dl full-cream milk
1 egg
2 tbsp birnel (pear syrup)

Whisk together the milk, egg and pear syrup, pour into the flour, whisk until you have a smooth batter.

Pancakes

clarified butter

Heat a little clarified butter in a large non-stick frying pan. Reduce the heat, pour as much batter into the pan as it takes to make pancakes of approx. 4 cm in diameter. Once the undersides are cooked they will no longer stick to the pan. Toss the pancakes, finish cooking, cover and set aside. Repeat these steps with the remainder of the batter.

Pancake skewers

½ lemon
2 bananas
200 g strawberries

Squeeze out the lemon juice. Cut the bananas and strawberries into slices. Drizzle the banana slices with lemon juice.

some short wooden skewers

Thread the pancakes, strawberries and banana slices onto the skewers.
