Batter

200 g half-white flour
60 g fine whole-grain rolled oats
¾ tsp sodium bicarbonate
¾ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 peach
125 g half-fat quark
1 ½ dl milk
3 eggs

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Batter

200 g half-white flour
60 g fine whole-grain rolled oats
¾ tsp sodium bicarbonate
¾ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt

Mix the flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl, make a well in the middle.

125 g half-fat quark
1 ½ dl milk
3 eggs

Cut the peach into pieces, puree in a measuring cup, whisk together with the quark, milk and eggs, gradually pour into the well while still whisking, continue to whisk until the batter is smooth. Cover the batter and leave to stand for approx. 30 mins.

Cut the peach in half, remove the stone, cut into thin slices.

Pancakes

clarified butter

Heat a little clarified butter in a non-stick frying pan. Reduce the heat, add as much batter as it takes to make pancakes of approx. 8 cm in diameter. Place the peach slices on top. Once the undersides are cooked they will no longer stick to the pan. Turn the pancakes and finish cooking. Repeat with the remaining batter and peach slices.

Good to know
Tip: If you prefer your pancakes sweeter, stir a little sugar into the batter.
