How it's done

Lightly toast the almonds in a frying pan without any oil, leave to cool, set aside.
Tear the apple rings into large pieces. Quarter the figs.
Place the oats in a food processor, blitz thoroughly. Mix the apple pieces, figs, honey, cinnamon and salt in a bowl.Blitz it all together in the food processor in batches along with the oats, continue to blitz until you have a malleable mixture. Return the mixture to the bowl. Coarsely chop the walnuts, add to the mixture and knead in.
To shape the power balls
Divide the mixture into 16 pieces, shape into balls with wet hands. Toss the balls in the reserved almonds.
|Shelf life:||Keep the power balls in a tightly sealed container for approx. 3 days.|
