Roesti mixture

500 g waxy potatoes, cooked in their skins, day-old
1 apple
1 tsp mild curry powder
½ tsp salt
a little pepper

Chicken

2 chicken breasts (approx. 250 g)
½ tsp salt
½ tbsp clarified butter for frying

Raclette

400 g raclette cheese in slices
½ bunch flat-leaf parsley

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Roesti mixture

500 g waxy potatoes, cooked in their skins, day-old
1 apple
1 tsp mild curry powder
½ tsp salt
a little pepper

Grate the potatoes and apple into a bowl. Add the curry powder, salt and pepper, mix well.

Chicken

2 chicken breasts (approx. 250 g)
½ tsp salt
½ tbsp clarified butter for frying

Heat up the raclette grill. Cut the chicken breasts into strips approx. 2 cm wide, season with salt. Heat the clarified butter on the grill plate. Place the chicken strips on top, fry for approx. 15 mins. turning regularly, set aside.

Place a little of the clarified butter in the raclette pans along with the potato mixture, cook under the raclette grill for approx. 5 mins.

Raclette

400 g raclette cheese in slices
½ bunch flat-leaf parsley

Place the cheese on top of the roesti, arrange the chicken strips on top, melt the cheese under the raclette grill for approx. 8 mins. Roughly chop the parsley using scissors, sprinkle on top.
