Chicken

1 tbsp olive oil
500 g chicken thighs
¼ tsp salt

One-pot

1 onion
500 g different coloured cherry tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato puree
6 dl chicken bouillon
250 g long grain rice
salt and pepper to taste

To serve

40 g grated Parmesan
½ bunch basil

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Chicken

1 tbsp olive oil
500 g chicken thighs
¼ tsp salt

Heat the oil in a cooking pot. Salt the chicken, brown the meat for approx. 5 mins. on each side. Remove the chicken, reduce the heat.

One-pot

1 onion
500 g different coloured cherry tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato puree

Peel and finely chop the onion. Halve the cherry tomatoes, add the onion and tomato puree to the cooking pot, sauté for approx. 2 mins.

6 dl chicken bouillon
250 g long grain rice
salt and pepper to taste

Pour in the stock, bring to the boil. Add the rice and cherry tomatoes, mix. Return the chicken to the pot, cover and simmer for approx. 20 mins., season.

To serve

40 g grated Parmesan
½ bunch basil

Plate up the chicken and rice. Scatter the cheese on top, garnish with the basil leaves.
