Pesto

1 ½ bunch basil
40 g sunflower seeds
50 g grated Sbrinz
½ dl olive oil
½ dl water
1 tsp crema di Balsamico (balsamic cream)
¼ tsp salt
a little pepper

Sandwiches

½ baguette (approx. 200 g)

Ladybird sandwiches

300 g mozzarella
½ bunch basil
8 cherry tomatoes
8 pitted black olives
a little crema di Balsamico (balsamic cream)

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Pesto

1 ½ bunch basil
40 g sunflower seeds
50 g grated Sbrinz
½ dl olive oil
½ dl water
1 tsp crema di Balsamico (balsamic cream)
¼ tsp salt
a little pepper

Tear off the basil leaves and place in a measuring cup along with all the other ingredients up to and including the Crema di Balsamico, puree, season.

Sandwiches

½ baguette (approx. 200 g)

Cut the baguette diagonally into approx. 16 slices. Spread the pesto on the bread.

Ladybird sandwiches

300 g mozzarella
½ bunch basil
8 cherry tomatoes
8 pitted black olives
a little crema di Balsamico (balsamic cream)

Slice the mozzarella into 16 slices, place on top of the bread. Tear off the basil leaves, place one leaf on each slice of mozzarella. Cut the tomatoes and olives in half, place the olives next to the tomato halves for the heads. Dot the Crema di Balsamico all over the tomatoes to resemble a ladybird.
