To prepare

a little olive oil
a little white flour

Courgette roses

1 bunch chives
125 g cream cheese
1 puff pastry dough, rolled into a rectangle (approx. 25 x 42 cm)
2 tbsp mixed seeds
60 g grated Gruyère

To shape

250 g courgettes

How it's done

To prepare

a little olive oil
a little white flour

Brush 8 wells in the muffin tin with oil and sprinkle with flour.

Courgette roses

1 bunch chives
125 g cream cheese
1 puff pastry dough, rolled into a rectangle (approx. 25 x 42 cm)
2 tbsp mixed seeds
60 g grated Gruyère

Finely chop the chives using scissors, mix into the cream cheese. Roll out the pastry dough, sprinkle with the mixed seeds, roll over gently with a rolling pin and spread with the cream cheese. Sprinkle with cheese.

To shape

250 g courgettes

Cut the pastry dough lengthwise into 8 strips of equal width. Cut the courgette into approx. 2 mm slices. Arrange the courgette slices along one side of the pastry strips slightly overlapping each other, with the courgette slices hanging over the edge of the dough, roll up the dough strips to form roses, and place in the prepared tin.

To bake

Approx. 40 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200 °C. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, remove the courgette roses from the tin, serve just warm.
