Tomatoes and mozzarella

125 g cherry tomatoes
150 g mini mozzarella balls
½ tbsp white balsamic vinegar
½ tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp salt

Skewers

½ bunch basil
toothpick

To garnish

2 tbsp mascarpone

How it's done

The kids can help at the marked areas .

Tomatoes and mozzarella

125 g cherry tomatoes
150 g mini mozzarella balls
½ tbsp white balsamic vinegar
½ tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp salt

Cut the tomatoes in half, place in a bowl. Add the mozzarella and all the other ingredients up to and including the salt, mix.

Skewers

½ bunch basil
toothpick

Tear off the basil leaves, thread onto each cocktail stick with half a tomato and a mozzarella ball.

To garnish

2 tbsp mascarpone

Place the mascarpone in a small bowl, stir it and then transfer it to a disposable piping bag without a nozzle, snip off a small corner. Pipe small dots of mascarpone onto the tomatoes.

Good to know
Prepare: Prepare the toadstool appetizers approx. ½ day in advance, cover and keep in the fridge. Garnish the skewers with the mascarpone shortly before serving.
